Health Care for All in 2009 - May 30th March

Come March for Quality Affordable Health Care!

March for Health Care for All in 2009

Saturday, May 30, 12:30 p.m.

Pratt Park, Seattle (20th Ave. & Yesler Way)

Dear Health Care Supporter,

What do you do when the state government makes $1 billion in health care cuts that threaten our health care safety net and leave tens of thousands of people without access to affordable health care?

Take to the streets! Rally to support national health care reform!

Please join people from more than 125 local pro-affordable health care organizations — including Save Health Care in Washington activists — in marching for support of President Obama’s goal to achieve health care reform in 2009. The May 30 March for Health Care will build toward health care reform efforts on a national scale. States around the country will be holding events throughout April and May that build to a June 25 national event with tens of thousands of people in Washington, D.C. Major marches and rallies have influenced policy makers throughout the history of our country, and now is the time to demonstrate the will of the people and raise the demand for quality, affordable health care for all.
