Community Health Centers (also known as Federally Qualified Health Centers) provide health care to all patients—even if they have no insurance or the ability to pay for care. Washington state is home to 28 Community Health Centers, or CHCs, providing care at around 450 clinic sites across the state. From Port Angeles to Spokane, Vancouver to Bellingham, CHCs provide primary care, dental care, mental health care, and more. Community health centers are the backbone of our state’s health care safety net, serving nearly 1.3 million Washingtonians every year. All Community health centers:
Serve a designated Medically Underserved Area or a Medically Underserved Population
Provide comprehensive, integrated health services to individuals in all stages of life
Provide services to individuals regardless of ability to pay
Offer a fee discount program based on family income and size
Join our movement to make sure everyone can get the health care they need.
