CHC funding through the 340B program is at risk of being cut as the state considers restructuring the Medicaid Pharmacy Benefit program. If this benefit is changed, it will eliminate this entire funding source, leading to service reductions and clinic closures, which will greatly impede access to free and low-cost prescriptions, chronic disease management, substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health services, and many other life-saving programs.
